Anxiety Stress Building Confidence
Hypnotherapy has helped many people like you to overcome anxiety, defeat long-standing phobias, change habits such as smoking, or build confidence. It can work effectively to quickly help your subconscious mind to make the changes you need.
I offer free, no obligation informal consultations to answer any questions you may have, and help you decide whether hypnotherapy would be effective for you.
Why not take that first step towards positive and powerful change and book one today?...
I have been a hypnotherapist for over 25 years, and use hypnosis and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) with a wide range of clients as powerful and effective techniques for personal change.
I see clients at practices in Cambridge and Southend on Sea. I also undertake coaching, and work with individuals and organisations including local authorities on the positive application of psychology for wellbeing and effectiveness.
As you are probably aware, hypnotherapy is an unregulated profession in the UK. This means that anyone can call themselves a hypnotherapist with little of no training or understanding of psychology, and belong to associations and have letters that have no recognized validity in mainstream psychology. You can therefore be reassured that, as well as being an experienced hypnotherapist, I am a chartered psychologist registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
What Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a safe natural state which usually combines deep relaxation with a focus of attention. Despite misconceptions about hypnosis, a hypnotised person does not lose consciousness and is still aware, though in an subtly altered state of consciousness that most people find very relaxing and pleasant.
In this hypnotised state, the subconscious and the habits and responses it holds become more open to change. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything that you don't wish to, but it can amplify and enhance the changes you want to make to your subconscious mind.
What Can Hypnotherapy Help With?
Hypnosis is readily applied to a wide range of areas, including:
Stopping Smoking - Helping you to give up for good using a combined hypnotherapy/NLP approach, saving you money, and greatly helping your long-term health prospects.
Anxiety - Hypnotherapy could help your mind become calmer, and reprogram those negative and overwhelming anxiety responses, thereby building a calmer and more positive mindset.
Weight Loss - Hypnotherapy could help you to reach and maintain that healthy weight.
Phobias - Overcome fears and phobias to help you live life to the full. Can help overcome deep seated and long-term phobias that can limit your life, such as fear of flying etc.
Building Confidence - Hypnosis can help you develop the confidence you need, both generally and for specific situations such as public speaking or that crucial interview.
How Long Does Hypnotherapy Take To Work?
The number of sessions required varies depending upon the individual and what they would like to change. Some issues can be simply solved with one or two sessions, but often more could be required. The aim is to help you to change as quickly as possible.
Everyone is individual with unique circumstances and challenges, and so just as with any therapeutic approach, I therefore cannot guarantee the results that you will achieve. However, I am proud of my success rate, and offer the free, no-obligation, initial consultation to help you to be reassured that the work we do gives you the best chance of success..
How Can I Find Out More?
Because I want you to be sure that hypnotherapy is right for you I can offer you an initial 30 minute consultation free of charge and with no obligation.
This is so that you can have any questions answered, and ensure that you feel comfortable with the process, and we can sketch out the best way that is most likely to make the changes that you want as quickly and effectively as possible.
